Pioneers Medical awards $7,000 in scholarships
MEEKER — In order to address the growing shortage of healthcare professionals, Pioneers Medical Center awarded $7,000 in scholarships to eastern Rio Blanco County residents who are pursuing degrees in healthcare. On May 17, nine individuals were awarded scholarships.
Pickup cemetery decorations June 1

Memorial Day ceremonies to begin at 10 a.m.

Request to reopen Park Street alley access refused
MEEKER — At the request of some citizens, the board of trustees opened a public discussion concerning the closure of the alley exit on Park Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets behind the Post Office.
Meeker Ghostriders go upriver
