Thank you very much for donating the paint so that we could paint the “M” at homecoming. We have had lots of compliments on it.
Up and down el Rio Blanco
Here we go again — I hope to have even more fun this time and I’m thankful to Mitch Bettis for another chance to be the editor, or as my predecessor wrote, “the caretaker” of the Rio Blanco Herald Times.
Letter: Building community
Happy Holidays! How to build community: Turn off your TV. Leave your house. Know your neighbors. Greet people. Look up when you’re walking. Sit on your stoop. Plant flowers. Use your library. Letter: Departing editor will be missed
It is so sad to read about Jeff Burkhead leaving. He has been such a great booster of both communities and especially for the White River Museum and our local history. On a personal note I am going to miss seeing Jeff walking around town to cover his beat and[Read More…]
Letter: Coach must be doing something right
In response to last week’s letter regarding the volleyball coaches and team, I feel that the author of the letter expressed a sentiment that unfortunately reflects a sad turn that our society has taken in the last few decades.
