CNCC rodeo teams in mix for title

RANGELY I The dust has settled on the fall season for CNCC Rodeo and the hard work of the largest team to date has been demonstrated. The CNCC cowboys and cowgirls have just returned from Logan, Utah, after competing in the Utah State University Rodeo. 

Eight chosen for Colorado Opportunity scholarships

RANGELY I This year, eight new students were awarded the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) scholarship to attend Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC). The students will be on the Craig and Rangely campuses exploring a variety of degrees including arts and sciences, cosmetology, pre-nursing, and pre-dental hygiene.

Dear Editor: We are so thankful for the wonderful medical community of Rangely. Throughout the last few years of Julius’ life, he received excellent care from the Rangely District Hospital doctors, nurses, lab technicians, emergency/ambulance staff, Rangely Family Medicine Clinic and home health care providers.

Nielsen runs for RSD school board seat

RANGELY I In the upcoming November election, Rangely voters will be tasked with filling three seats on the Rangely School Board. The current incumbents to those positions, Leslie Nielsen, Kurt Douglas and Joyce Key are each seeking re-election, and there will be one challenger, Rangely Conoco owner Bart Nielsen.
