Bicycles parked outside Parkview Elementary School in Rangely represented just a segment of the nearly 300 Rangely children who participated in National Hike/Bike to School Day on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Rangely Junior High gridders end season with 14-12 victory
RANGELY I On a rain-soaked Oct. 9, the Rangely Junior High Panthers football team concluded its season with a win over the Soroco Rams, ending the Panthers season with a 14-12 victory and a 7-1 overall record.

After a good soaking much of the day on the last Sunday of the summer, the clouds parted enough late in the day to allow this rainbow to form over Rangely. It rained again that evening and on Monday to make for some good precipitation as autumn officially began.
