Panthers turn ball, game over to Vail Christian Saints

RANGELY I Vail Christian was supposed to travel to Rangely for a football game on Yeager Field last Friday but because of a power outage caused by the snowstorm, the game was postponed until Monday, when the Saints did come to town and marched out with a 26-8 win.

Lady Panthers drop two matches

CNCC Fall Rodeo season ends, spring in five months

RANGELY I The Colorado Northwestern Community College rodeo athletes rode, roped and tied their last event of the Rocky Mountain Region’s fall season last weekend in Logan, Utah, and they will be practicing and training for the next five months, for when the spring season begins.

Rangely lady Panthers go 1-2 in league matches

RANGELY I The Rangely High School volleyball team went 1-2 on the weekend, playing extremely well in the league match against South Routt County (Soroco), beating them in three straight games to claim the match. Coach Jimmie Mergelman said, “We played really well this game from start to finish.”
