Lady Panthers win 2 matches in Glenwood Springs

RANGELY I Rangely volleyball coach Jimmie Mergelman “was pleased with the weekend,” as her team traveled to Glenwood Springs for a tournament. The team gave their coach plenty to be excited about, winning two of four matches and forcing a tough Denver Christian School to three games.

Several hundred family members and individuals took part in the Rangely Museum’s Ice Cream Social at the museum on the east end of town on Sunday as part of Septemberfest.

Miss Teen United States…

Alyssa Magalong, a Colorado Springs resident but a student at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, recently won the Miss Teen United States title. She was highly visible over the weekend, taking part in Rangely’s Septemberfest activities.
