RANGELY | Ronda Worrall of Rangely is this week’s “home of” honoree. Her parents moved to Rangely in 1964, when her dad Donald VanCleave was the State Farm agent. Her father is deceased and her mother Jeannette currently lives in Grand Junction.

Walls raised by rock-solid community effort
When local contract or Dave Allred was a kid, he didn’t think of going into the hills to gather rocks as work. Harvesting flat, mossy sandstone with your family and other families with kids your age was just plain fun.
Fundraising efforts pay for celebration
Many efforts from the 50th anniversary planning committee and the CNCC Foundation, as well as college and community generosity, raised money for the Colorado Northwestern Community College 50th Anniversary Re-dedication Celebration.
Local artist commissioned
CNCC has commissioned Kyle Stewart for a large metal sculpture to grace the new Rangely Campus time capsule courtyard in honor of the College’s 50th Anniversary Re-dedication Celebration.
