CNCC receives funding for project
RANGELY I The Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) has received notification from the Bacon Family Foundation of Grand Junction that their request for funding to provide AED Defibrillators and CPR/first aid training for faculty and staff was approved with a grant.
Obituary: Kelton Lee
Kelton Berry Lee, 55, of Vernal, Utah, passed away on Oct. 27, 2011, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Vernal, Utah, to George Wilson and Mona Rae Hislop Lee.

Rangely ESA Bazaar coming Nov. 13
RANGELY | The Epsilon Chi Sorority of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) will once again hold its annual holiday bazaar Sunday, Nov. 13 at Parkview Elementary School from noon until 5 p.m.
Panther runners qualify
RANGELY I Panthers headed to Delta Nov. 19 for the state qualifying regional championships. The girls’ team had two entries for the meet while the boys had six.

Panthers win homecoming
RANGELY I Wins for the Rangely Panther football team and first year head coach Paul Fortunato have been hard to come by this season but the Rangely players and coaches earned a victory over the Lake County Panthers in the 2011 homecoming game held last Saturday on Yeager Field.
