Postal scam warning issued in Meeker
MEEKER I The Meeker Post Office warned that postal customers may receive bogus e-mails about a package delivery. The e-mails contain a link that, when opened, installs a malicious virus capable of stealing personal information from computers.

Lady Panthers take two, improve to 9-1
RANGELY I What a difference a day makes. The Lady Panthers played perhaps their best match of the season last Friday against Vail Mountain. The next day, against Plateau Valley, they didn’t play nearly as well. However, the outcomes were the same. Rangely won both matches in three games.
Letter: Ballot measures would harm county
I have concerns with Amendments 60, 61, and Proposition 101 on the Nov. 2 ballot. Proponents state these proposals would help citizens control the size of government, but I see them negating the outcomes of our local elections and reducing local control.
