For nearly 30 years as a coach and teacher, Bob Tucker touched the lives of students. Tucker died in 2006, but through a golf tournament honoring his memory, his legacy is still having an impact on students’ lives.

Panther boys take fourth; girls seventh at Vernal
RANGELY I The Panther track team went across the state line to compete against Utah teams in Vernal last Friday. The boys’ team placed fourth out of 10 teams with 40 points. The girls’ team placed seventh out of 10 teams with 30 points.

New roof for Rangely Annex Building
RANGELY I For the next two to three weeks, the Rangely Annex Building, 17497 Highway 64, will be receiving a new roof. During construction, there may be parking and/or building entry restrictions. RHS wins league baseball title
RANGELY I Not only did the Panthers beat county rival Meeker, they won the league championship at the same time. Rangely routed the Cowboys in two games Saturday — 21-13 and 25-9. But, most importantly, the Panthers came away as league champs.
