Youth hunt offered by program

RBC I With generous support from local private landowners, Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Hunter Outreach Program is offering three youths the opportunity to participate in a guided, high-quality spring turkey hunt on private land near Meeker.

New judge coming to RBC

RBC I The Ninth Judicial District Nominating Commission will meet at the Garfield County Courthouse on May 17 to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the office of district judge for the Ninth Judicial District (Garfield, Pitkin and Rio Blanco counties).

911 reverse calling, emergencies

RBC I Rio Blanco County contracted with the Emergency Communications Network to license its CodeRED high-speed notification system. The CodeRED system provides Meeker and Rangely officials with the ability to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire county.
