Colorado residents and visitors will have the opportunity to fish without a license on June 6-7 as part of “Colorado’s Free Fishing Days.”
Wild horse herd plan pending
Bureau of Land Management’s plans to “zero out” a herd of wild horses is on hold.
Oil shale workshop scheduled for May 26
There will be a workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. May 26 at the Fairfield Center for anyone concerned about the impacts of oil shale development and water use.
VFW Post will put out flags, but not crosses
Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Posts all across the nation are discontinuing crosses on veterans’ graves on Memorial Day, due to less membership in our Posts.
