MEEKER — Playing a rare away/home game in Olathe Saturday, the Meeker Cowboys were able to completely dominate the Mancos Bluejays in a game where both teams traveled to a neutral sight.

Cowgirls lasso pair of league wins
MEEKER — The Cowgirls played with more consistency this weekend. Friday night the team faced Plateau Valley and the girls were mentally ready for their opponent. Team members have been working hard on this aspect of their game to help mold it all together.
Panthers claw Grand Junction
RANGELY — The Rangely Panther football team got its first win of the season last Thursday against the Grand Junction Tigers. Rangely had a very nice day in the air with 303 passing yards to six receivers including one offensive lineman.

Cowgirls battle for league win
MEEKER — It has been a very wavy road to start the volleyball season. The team scheduled six matches with schools bigger than Meeker, with the exception of Nucla, for its pre-season jump.
Panthers lose but show improvement
RANGELY — The Panther football team improved in a couple of areas last Friday against the 2A Coal Ridge Titans. The Panthers fell to the Titans 41-14, so they still have several areas to work on, but this was the best the team has looked this season.
