RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panthers qualified three seniors and a junior for the 2014 Colorado State Track and Field Championships in Denver and returned home with several medals, personal bests, two new school records and a seventh-place team finish for the boys.

RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panther track team qualified four athletes for the 2014 Colorado State Track and Field Championships, which start today in Jefferson County Stadium in Denver.
RMS track athletes set new school records
RANGELY I Rangely Junior High School athletes traveled to Baggs, Wyo., for their last meet of the season on Friday, and with sun shining and wind blowing, the Panthers brought home several medals, set new school records and set personal bests.
Panthers do well in West Grand
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers track teams ended their regular season in Kremmling and they are excited about the upcoming, state-qualifying, regional meet in Grand Junction on Friday and Saturday.
Youth Panthers wrestle in tourney
The Rangely youth wrestling team entered 45 wrestlers in the Casey Turner Memorial in Meeker on Saturday, and more than 20 placed in the top four, including six champions.

‘Tis the season to golf…
Rangely golfers Shelby Hayes, Jon Fischer, Ryan Huitt and Alex Halcomb didn’t finish in the money but were the best dressed foursome on the Cedar Ridges Golf Course for the first tournament of the season, a scramble fundraiser for the CNCC softball team.
Hometown boys win Panther Invitational, again
RANGELY I For the third year in a row, the Rangely boys’ track and field team has won the annual Panther Invitational, held on Yeager Field.

The Rio Blanco County American Legion, 16-under girls’ fast pitch softball team, competes in the Colorado River Valley Little League and is currently undefeated in three games.
RBC baseball teams play doubleheader in Meeker
RBC I The two Rio Blanco County high school baseball teams met in Meeker one week ago today for a doubleheader. Rangely returned west with two more victories.

Rangely High School junior Desiree Coombs scored two goals, including one in the second overtime period, to lead her team to a 2-1 victory against Vail Christian. The Panthers, currently 1-4, will host Coal Ridge today starting at 4 p.m.
