RANGELY I The Rangely High School boys’ basketball team lost 60-44 to the Little Snake Rattlers but came back and defeated the Plateau Valley Cowboys 48-30 in front of a home crowd.

RANGELY I Four members of the Rangely High School Panther wrestling team took part in the annual Carl Ramunno Memorial Tournament in Steamboat Springs, and all four placed in the top three, including one champion.

RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panther boys’ basketball team only played one game last week, but it was against an intense Paonia Eagle team, losing the contest 53-35. Rangely (2-5), will host Hotchkiss in another league game Friday and Caprock Academy on Saturday.

RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panther wrestling team hosted the second annual Vern Rose Memorial Tournament on Saturday with only four wrestlers entered. Two of those won individual titles.
