Panther girl cagers fall twice

RANGELY I The Rangely High School girls’ basketball team played two good games over the weekend and nearly beat a tough Plateau Valley team Saturday.

Rangely sends four grapplers to meet; all place

RANGELY I Four members of the Rangely High School Panther wrestling team took part in the annual Carl Ramunno Memorial Tournament in Steamboat Springs, and all four placed in the top three, including one champion.

Panther boys split games

RANGELY I The Rangely High School boys’ basketball team lost a home game against Hotchkiss then beat Caprock Academy on the road the next day.

Panther cagers fall to Paonia

RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panther boys’ basketball team only played one game last week, but it was against an intense Paonia Eagle team, losing the contest 53-35. Rangely (2-5), will host Hotchkiss in another league game Friday and Caprock Academy on Saturday.

RHS mat men Peters, Allred win

RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panther wrestling team hosted the second annual Vern Rose Memorial Tournament on Saturday with only four wrestlers entered. Two of those won individual titles.
