RBC coaches Carl Padilla (far left) and Jeff “Buck” LeBleu (far right) were honored by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) for 30 years of coaching wrestling at all levels (youth, middle and high schools) in their respective communities of Meeker and Rangely. Padilla will retire at the high school level but will continue coaching Meeker’s youth program. LeBleu has been a mainstay in Rangely’s wrestling program at all levels. LeBleu has retired a couple of times but has always stepped up when the Panthers needed him. Lebleu was the head coach when Travis Witherell won Rangely’s last individual title in 2010. “I hope in all my years of coaching that I have made a positive impact to the wrestlers,” LeBleu said. LeBleu will retire after the middle school season, where he will coach his grandson with his son Keenan. BOBBY GUTIERREZ | BOBBYGUTIERREZ.SMUGMUG.COM
