RBC | Meeker High School’s basketball program was represented this week at the All-State games in Denver. Jace Mobley, Jonathan Fitzgibbons, and Ryan Sullivan received honorable mentions in Class 3A. Head Coach Klark Kindler was selected as one of the coaches for the the All-State games.
In baseball, three Meeker Cowboys received honorable mentions in Class 2A: seniors Jake Blazon and Spencer Gates, and junior Carson Klinzmann. Rangely High School sophomore Landon Bollinger also received an honorable mention.
Blazon has been invited to play in the Barcelona Goodwill Games this summer in Spain. A fundraiser to help cover expenses for Blazon’s trip is planned for Friday, June 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Smoking River Brewing Company in Meeker.
