Jr. high teams split contests

RBC I Rangely’s seventh-graders won in a shutout, 37-0, last week against Steamboat Springs, but the eight-graders lost a close one, 14-7.
“It went down to the wire, as with most of our games,” coach Tim Webber said of the Rangely eighth-graders. “The kids executed both offensively and defensively and the game could have gone either way. It was very exciting and I an proud of our kids.”
