Meeker hosts Dist. 5 tourney this weekend

MEEKER — Rangely’s girls’ basketball team will play Paonia at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 2A District 5 tournament at Meeker High School.
The host team will meet Hayden in the second girls’ game at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The first boys’ game will feature Hayden and Plateau Valley at 5 p.m. Friday.
County rivals Meeker and Rangely will have a rematch game at 8 p.m. Friday. The Cowboys beat the Panthers earlier in the season.
