A record-setting 703-pound black bear killed north of Meeker is igniting a controversy. According to the Huffington Post, the fact Richard Kendall, a hunter from Craig, crawled into the hibernating bear’s cave for the kill has the DOW considering changes to the rules regarding bear hunting. Is it fair to sneak up on a sleepy bear?
