The Meeker Mustangs played their first home games of the season last Saturday under the lights at Starbuck Stadium. D-1 little dudes (and dude-ette!) took to the soggy field first and racked up 20 first-quarter points against Parachute. The D-2 Mustangs found a tougher opponent in the older Piranhas. Saturday’s games saw the officiating debut of Clay Crawford and Cade Blunt, under the watchful eye of Nick Smith. Veterans of Mustangs football themselves, they called a very fair couple of games.
