MEEKER | Meeker Cross Country competed in the 2A Region 5 meet on Friday at Confluence Park in Delta. The girls raced at noon, with Haylee Steele and Abi Amick representing the Cowboys. Haylee finished in 54th place at 28:19, and Abi was 59th in 34:42.
The boys’ race found Wyatt Rollins as Meeker’s top runner, in 19:12 and a 14th place finish — earning him a trip to the State Championship meet this Saturday.…
