WELL. It turns out announcing that you’re having a hard time does not, in fact, magically solve all your problems. However, it was extremely nice to hear from fellow friends and readers who are also on the struggle bus and not afraid to be honest about it.
Part of the problem recently is I do this thing where I overcommit to absolutely everything and everyone, thus setting myself up to inevitably fail (okay already, Dr. Phil). All that to say … I’m pretty darn thankful there’s still a reliable print edition each and every Thursday in Rio Blanco County, independent of my foibles.
(100% had to look that word up to make sure I was using it right. I AM! I THINK!)
