On Sept. 17, 2015, John (Jack) Kendall, Jr., age 82, passed away at Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, Colo. Jack was born in a rural farm house in Washington County, Colo., on April 6, 1933, and was the third of four children of John and Gertrude Kendall.

RANGELY I The defending eight-man football state champion Caliche Buffaloes defeated the Rangely Panthers, 44-16, on Friday on Yeager Field, and this week the Panthers will host the Hayden Tigers for their Homecoming game.
