CNCC flight team scores fourth overall, places second in nation
RBC I The flight team at Colorado Northwest Community College in Rangely wrapped up its season Oct. 26 at the National Intercollegiate Flight Association (NIFA) regional competition at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, finishing fourth overall and second in the national competition.
Rangely Community Gardens ends season by giving away 550 whole pumpkins
RANGELY I The Rangely Community Gardens finished its 2014 season by handing out more than 550 pumpkins to children and community members before Halloween. Since the Gardens’ inception in 2011, organizer Sharon Stewart has held fast to the idea of growing pumpkins for kids. Part of the reason was nostalgia.
