Members of the Rangely 4-H Community Council and members of CNCC’s Phi Theta Kappa decorated the Radino Center for Christmas last Friday. The 4-H Community Council will also build and decorate a float for the Dec. 10 Parade of Lights.

Obituary: Ellene Riddle

Henrietta Ellene (Best) Riddle was born to Herman and Agnes Best on May 4, 1919, in Lawton, Okla., the third of eight children (Jewel, Wilma, Ellene, Blanche, Charlotte, Ronal, Roy and Ray). She passed away Dec. 3, 2011, in Meeker, Colo.

Graduate returns home to run chamber

RANGELY I Brooke Lohse’s last name was Smith when she was graduated from Rangely High School in 2000. She’s returning to her hometown with a college degree, a husband and two sons. Lohse will be the new executive director of the Rangely Chamber of Commerce.
