Meeker ballots will be hand counted
MEEKER I Rio Blanco County Clerk and Recorder Nancy Amick discovered a printing error in the Meeker School District RE-1 ballots but the ballots will still be counted.
RE-1: Drill baby, drill
MEEKER I Meeker RE-1 superintendent Susie Goettel received direction from the school board to hire a new geotechnical company to further investigate the soils at the new elementary school. The CTL Thompson firm has proposed drilling at least three additional soil bores before structural repairs begin.
CNCC Rangely adds challenge course to campus
RANGELY I The Rangely campus of Colorado Northwestern Community College has just begun construction of a ropes course across the street from the CNCC softball field. Contractors began the implementation of what looks like several large telephone poles on the site.
