MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys cross country team has quietly been moving up the 2A division ranks and is now considered a top 10 team under the strong running of sophomore Jake Boesch and junior Lathrop Hughes.

RANGELY I Leaving at 5:30 a.m. to run a cross country race at an elevation of nearly 8,000 feet on a snowy fall morning in Aspen, Colo., may not be for everyone but it’s exactly what two daring Rangely junior high athletes did this past Saturday.
