MEEKER I The weekend wasn’t what the Meeker girls’ basketball team was hoping for. Last Friday, the girls traveled to Paonia to meet the defending state champions. In their previous game, Meeker surprised the Eagles with a hard-hitting full court press to lasso a six point win.

RANGELY I At its most recent meeting, the board of directors of the Rangely Area Chamber of Commerce (RACC) agreed to meet once more before creating a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the chamber board and the Town of Rangely.

Hughes, Scherbarth compete in state finals
