RANGELY | Rodger and Debbie Polley of Rangely are this week’s “home of” honorees. Rodger has lived here for 26 years. Rodger and Debbie have been married 18 years. The Polleys are small business owners. They have owned and operated Rangely True Value Hardware for six years.

The Meeker Herald — 75 years ago March 7, 1935 • Everett Rector, Rangely pioneer, was severely burned when carbide gas from his lighting system exploded. It seems that after retiring for night, Mr. Rector thought he smelled a gas odor. When he struck a match there was an explosion.
