Baseball season…

Rangely’s 11-12 year-old baseball team traveled to play a recreational league game against one of Meeker’s teams and although they mounted a comeback, time ran out with the Panthers behind 13-8.

Meeker II wins

Rangely team finishes 3rd

RANGELY I “We had a pretty good weekend,” said Paul Fortunato, coach of the Rangely 15-18 baseball team team, about his team’s performance in the Green River tournament held last weekend in Wyoming. The Rangely team won three of five games and finished third in a field of 10 teams.

Tourney time…

Baseball teams in the 11-12 Recreation League from Meeker, Rangely, Craig and Baggs, Wyo., will start their tournament in Meeker tonight with Rangely playing Baggs and both Meeker teams playing against each other starting at 7:30 at Paintbrush Park.
