Community Networking meeting April 23

RBC | The next Community Networking Group meeting will be held Tuesday in the Weiss Conference Room on the Colorado Northwestern Community College campus in Rangely with the public invited. The event will run from noon to 2 p.m.

New CNCC statue unveiled; capsule delayed by storm

RANGELY I That Colorado Northwestern Community College’s 50-year anniversary celebration culminated in blizzard conditions didn’t faze the approximately 30 people gathered under the Hefley Gym eaves for a time capsule dedication ceremony and unveiling of a new Spartan statue Tuesday afternoon.

CNCC capsule set; statue unveiled

RANGELY I The unveiling of the new Colorado Northwestern Community College Spartan sculpture will take place at a ceremony on Tuesday and will be accompanied by the placement of a time capsule, designed to be opened in the year 2062, when the school will mark its centennial.

Taking on a new art form due to sun and the heat, the ice tower at Colorado Northwest Community College is erected every year and used for ice climbing instruction as well as recreation.
