Letter: Fifth-graders thank event presenters
Our class just recently attended the outstanding “Right in your own Backyard” event to raise awareness of our area. We want to thank all the groups who came to provide information.

The weather cooperated with us for Memorial Day weekend, allowing the Meeker High School Class of 2010 to commence without benefit of snow or rain. Although Meeker did share the honor of lowest temperature across the state with Aspen, Leadville and Craig, at 38 degrees. Congratulations, graduates!

With Meeker High School’s commencement Saturday, I attended my third graduation ceremony in four weeks. First on the list of graduations was the one at Colorado Northwestern Community College, followed by Rangely Senior High.
