MEEKER I Although the recent weather has not been ideal for track meets, it won’t keep the Cowboys off the track, as they competed in Glenwood Springs on Saturday and will compete in Coal Ridge on Friday, then Rangely on Saturday.

MHS track team opens its season at Rifle meet
MEEKER I According to Meeker High School track coach John Strate, the first track meet of the season was held on a cold and windy day in Rifle, but, “We got some pretty solid performances from both of our returning athletes and our freshman.”
Walkathon raises $25,000 for new MHS track
MEEKER I The “Save Our Track Walk-A-Thon, held July 5 in Meeker in an effort to raise funds to repair the running track at Meeker High School “Was very successful,” according to Meeker organizer Debbie Cook.
