PMC receives water purification unit
MEEKER — Pioneers Medical Center received a donation of a portable water purification system Oct. 23 that will be used if the hospital isn’t able to safely use the town’s water system.

MEEKER — In order to address the growing shortage of healthcare professionals, Pioneers Medical Center awarded $7,000 in scholarships to eastern Rio Blanco County residents who are pursuing degrees in healthcare. On May 17, nine individuals were awarded scholarships.
