RANGELY — Martin Anchondo of Rangely was named to the dean’s list (3.5-3.74 grade-point average) for spring semester at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling.
Local racers fare well at Grand Junction drag strip
RANGELY I The first two-day Western Colorado Dragway races in Grand Junction went well for local racers May 30-31.

Fishing is Fun day was Saturday, June 6. Rangely’s fishing derby at Kenney Reservoir was sponsored by the Rio Blanco Water Conservancy District and the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Meeker’s fishermen were out in force the same day, but fished at Circle Park in Meeker.
