A combined effort, spearheaded by White River Electric Association, with Pioneers Medical Center and the Meeker Volunteer Fire and Rescue has allowed for the purchase of 4 AED (automated external defibrillator) units for the Meeker School District.

Letter: Task force raffling quilt for charity

Just wanted to let your readers know about a quilt raffle. The Colorado Rural Electric Association Women’s Task Force is raffling off a beautiful custom-made quilt. The quilt will be on display at the WREA annual meeting on Sept. 8.
