The Meeker High School baseball and softball teams held their first joint auction and fundraiser Sunday evening, the Take Me Out to the Ball Game Auction and Fundraiser with more than 130 in attendance. “We cannot thank your sponsors enough for their generous support,” commented softball head coach Kendal Bergman. “I can say it has been a success and as soon as we have all the numbers we will let all those that sponsored, donated, and volunteered know the extent of what we were able to accomplish. Either way it will be a big impact to both of our teams.”Baseball head coach Donald Blazon, whose team will be in full swing beginning this week, said that he “appreciated all the support from the Meeker community, that in true Meeker fashion, our community has come through to help our teams.” Rich Klinzmann Photos
