The WRBM Recreation and Parks District in Rangely has been upgrading the facilities in Elks Park with more changes to come. A new, larger pavilion has been built on the east end of the park and another one with restrooms is being constructed near the colorful playground (below). The district plans to upgrade the Kevin Poole Memorial Field with a new fence, lights and a concession stand with bathrooms this fall after softball season.
It rained during the annual senior barbecue hosted by the Town of Rangely in Elks Park but it didn’t keep more than 100 people from attending including Reinhard Fricken. Fricken celebrated his 100th birthday. Related
