Firearm safety for youngsters

RANGELY I Rio Blanco County, CSU Extension and the Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be offering a free firearm safety course for kids 5 years old and older. With recent accidents associated with firearms it is extremely important for your children to understand how to stay safe around firearms in your home or someone else’s. Treats will be provided by your local Rangely 4-H members.
The free safety course will be held Friday, May 18 from 1-3 p.m. at the WRBCM Recreation Center in Rangely. For more information call 878-9495 between 1-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
