NFL Pass, Punt and Kick results

NFL Punt, Pass and Kick participants RJ Richens (2nd place: 8-9), Katelyn Brown (3rd place: 12-13), Nych DeLeon (1st place: 12-13), Tristen Rohn (1st place: 10-11). Not pictured: Sarah Connor (2nd place: 10-11).

RANGELY I The Punt, Pass and Kick sectional competition was held Sunday, Oct. 16 at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction. Rangely was represented well with all five of Rangely participants placing in the top three, including two champions in Tristen Rohn (boys, 10-11) and Nych DeLeon (boys, 12-13). In order to move on to the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Team Competition at the Denver Broncos practice facility in Dove Valley, their scores must be in the top four of nine different regional winners in the Denver Broncos area which includes Montana, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and, of course, Colorado. Both boys posted very good scores and have a legitimate shot at moving on. All they can do now is patiently wait for the results from the other regions to see how they compare. Congratulations to the local and sectional winners and to all of those who participated in NFL Punt, Pass and Kick 2011.
