Colt Wille, Garrett Frantz, Doak Mantle and Dillon Frantz all placed third. Kesston Hobbs, Austin Russell, Anna Castle, Daylon Nielson, Cody Nielsen, Jacob Nielsen, Zach Taylor, Austin Sanderson, Kylloe Goedert, Austin Collins, Anthony Kelley and Fabian Jones all wrestled, but did not place.
“Without the continued support of the coaching staff, we would not be able to help each wrestler individually. I would like to thank Starla Secrest and Katie Amick for keeping brackets and keeping track of the wrestlers for us. I would also like to thank Bill Smith, Luke Pelloni, Web Frantz, Keith Rule, Joe Gutierrez, Bobby Shelton, Brett Harvey, Coley Turner, James Amick, Todd Lewis, Mike Wille, Toby Garcia and Donald Hobbs for helping out with the coaching duties,” said head coach Todd Morris.
Just a reminder: team and individual pictures will be taken Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at the Meeker High School gym. Please bring your singlet and shoes and any trophies or medals you have won this season. Third- through sixth-grade practice will follow after all pictures have been taken. There will be no tournament April 26, but practice will continue on the regular schedule.
The young Cowboys will travel to Craig this weekend to attend the Bad Dogs Tournament. Wrestling will begin at 9 a.m. at the Moffat County High School.
