RANGELY I Rangely’s annual holiday bazaar was held at Parkview Elementary School Sunday, Nov. 13. A number of vendors provided an interesting variety of quality merchandise.
A big thank you to White River Market, Subway and Bill Hume who donated supplies for the food table concession provided by Epsilon Chi. The volunteer help from Shirley Collins, Joyce Muller and Barb Widener was greatly appreciated by Epsilon Chi. We also want to thank Santa Claus for taking time to visit that afternoon, as well as all the vendors and visitors who made the bazaar a worthwhile community activity. The use of Parkview’s building for the bazaar is also very much appreciated.
Winners of Epsilon Chi’s annual fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, with all proceeds going to St. Jude’s, were: Carla Slagle won the raft trip for two through Split Mountain Gorge provided by Adrift Adventures next summer; the winner of the overnight stay at the Candlewood Inn Suites in Grand Junction and a dinner at Olive Garden was Kendra Allen; Peggy Massey won the $100 money shirt sponsored by Epsilon Chi; Sharon Brown was the lucky winner of an emerald ring donated by Paul Burgell; and Jolene Armstrong won a special drawing for a Siberian gemstone set in a special metal, also donated by Paul Burgell. The Radino Center will announce their gift basket winners following their Christmas party next month.
