RANGELY I The Rangely Outdoor Museum will open its doors for the summer on Friday.
Rio Blanco County residents and area visitors are urged to check out the museum’s three buildings full of displays as well as the outdoor displays. In addition, there is new merchandise in the gift shop.
Hours of operation for May, September and October are Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Hours of operation for June, July and August are Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
The museum has a new black-light display this year and more arrowheads have been added to the Native American collection. The museum is located at 150 Kennedy Drive in Rangely.
