Tourney begins at 9 a.m. at Rangely High School
RANGELY I Rangely wrestlers traveled to De Beque last Saturday to compete in the Parachute Grappler wrestling tournament, sponsored by the Parachute/Battlement Mesa Parks and Recreation District.
Rangely had 14 wrestlers competed in the tournament, placing five. Calvin Bishop was the only wrestler to place first. Placing second were Byron Mackey and Brody McElhaney. Placing third were Karver Lopez and Tytus Coombs. Also competing were Kasen LeBleu, Dontea Pearce, Colton Noel, Dylan LeBleu, Dalton Dembowski, CJ Lucero, Grady Neilsen, Hunter Hanvey and Cameron Filfred.
Rangely will host the final tournament of the season Saturday at Rangely High School, starting at 9 a.m.
