RANGELY | The BLM White River Field Office invites the Rangely community to participate in a National Public Lands Day (NPLD) event Sept. 27.
Participants can join in improving the quality of their national public lands by cleaning up a small trash dumping site located near Rangely. To get involved, meet BLM staff at the Rangely Recreation Center at 10 a.m. on Saturday. After a brief orientation, participants will travel one mile south to the clean-up site location. Please wear sturdy work or hiking boots and long pants. Free work gloves and NPLD T-shirts will be provided. The project should be finished around noon. A parent or legal guardian will need to sign a volunteer agreement for those 18 and under. This activity is geared towards all ages and abilities, so bring family and friends and contribute to improving your national public lands.
