RANGELY I An informational meeting for a new support group for families and friends of adult mental health clients will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 130 Pinyon Circle.
The group is part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. For information, contact Linda Roedell, 629-9470.
“One in four Americans will experience a serious mental disorder in his or her lifetime, including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and severe anxiety disorders,” Roedell said. “Mental illnesses are no-fault, biologically based brain disorders, which cause disturbances in thinking, feeling and/or relating. We as family members and friends can help make a difference.”
