RANGELY I The Rangely Youth Wrestlers finished up their season in Parachute this past weekend. Twenty wrestlers competed in the tournament and all did an outstanding job.
Taking home the gold were Breckin McElhaney, Tyce Lucero and Zane Varner. Silver medals were awarded to Landon Carlson, Kobey Chism, Johnny Dominguez and Jose Flores. Earning bronze medals were Luis Quintana and Byron Mackay.
Tytus Coombs placed fourth. Competing in the tournament but not placing were Jeffrey Slack, Marcos Quintana, Landon Williams, Colten Stevens, Anthony Dorris, Andrew Slack, Wyatt Zufelt, Karver Lopez, Joshua Dunn and Lane Hallmark.
“We are so proud of the wrestlers this season, they showed a great amount of improvement this year. We will be looking forward to seeing all of the kids next year, and hopefully many more.
Also a big thank you to all of the coaches that helped out this year.
