Gas prices on the rise
MEEKER I We’re used to grumbling about the price of gas in Meeker, where the cost of a gallon of gas is generally anywhere from 5 cents to 25 cents a gallon higher than fuel in neighboring communities.

Dear Editor: Recently, we experienced the beauty of being raised in a small town. The genuineness and kindness of the people of Meeker flows way beyond the lines of Rio Blanco County. Our ties to Meeker seem to enrich our lives again and again, no matter where we end up.
Up and down el Rio Blanco: Great kids
We raise some great kids around here. Last week I wrote about the favorite part of my job as being able to watch kids grow up. I got to witness some of them growing up last week and I look forward to watching more this week.
Summer “up the mountain” sparks fond memories
