Walter “Fuzz” William Cook was born March 25, 1924, in Yuma, Colo., and passed away on May 11, 2011, surrounded by his family, in Meeker, Colo. Fuzz was the third child of 13 born to Robert James and Daisy Margaret Cook.

Four Panthers to state
